Wine Tasting Fees: $10 for wine club members & $15 for the general public

Last Live Music Thursday 2nd: Spend the last live THURSDAY music night with us and our wines, Will Stump on bass and Ron Peters on Guitar. We are pausing our live music on Thursdays while the Kirkland Summer Concert Series takes place at the Marina Park Al Locke Pavilion during July and August.

Live Music Friday 3rd: With Jarrett Renshaw from 5:30–8 PM

4th of July Saturday : After The Parade Party with Dean Backholm 2:30pm-4:30pm. Holiday Hours are 12pm-6pm with our Hot Dog Roller for the day!

As far as the bar goes, we have offer wine flights daily, wines by the glass or bottle, choices rotate often, and over 30 canned beers/ciders. We also have lots of NA beverages available!

About us

The Grape Choice is a Wine Store and Wine Bar in Downtown Kirkland. We are a small female owned business with a big personality.

We have been serving the Kirkland Community for 40 years with the largest privately owned wine selection on the eastside. Over the years we have slowly grown into a fun place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, whether indoors or on our large water view patio.

We have weekly events like wine tastings and live music nights as well as monthly events like wine club release tastings, larger tasting and presale events (like our annual Champagne Tasting & Thanksgiving Tasting), and monthly birthday bashes!

We DO NOT take reservations.  We love our casual first come first served atmosphere, we have lots of room, and it’s a great place to make a friend at one of our community style tables!

Wednesdays & Wine Tastings

Our Wednesday Tastings have been a community event for decades and are in full swing from 5-8pm each week! Whether it’s a Winemaker, Winery Representative, or local expert. We showcase 4-5 wines for $10 per tasting & $8 for wine club members each week and you can purchase those wines for a discount that day.

Thursdays & Live Music

Every Thursday, we will be hosting live music from 5:30pm-7:30pm!

Fridays & Live Music

Friday afternoons are for happy hours from 1pm-3pm. Friday nights are hoppin, as we have live music each week (on the patio when weather permits) from 5/5:30-8pm. These nights are busy so we suggest coming and grabbing a table early as we do not take reservations.

Weekend Deals & Bashes

We have our monthly birthday bash the first Saturday of every month. We sometimes have live music on Saturdays that is always free!
Wine Club Release Tastings after the 14th of each month. International Tastings & Food pairings sometimes too! And hot dog Sunday’s are back!
